The town of Minot Maine was incorporated on February 18th 1802. Minot had its first town meeting on April 5th that same year. At the time it was founded, most citizens of Minot worked as self-sustaining farmers.
Minot had up to three churches from early to mid 1800s as well as three Granges and two canning factories. |
